To assist with Family Support for Children with Disabilities (F.S.C.D.) & PDD adults under their family managed contracts
Government agencies grant subsidies to those families and their children, depending on the requirement. An assessment is conducted by a representative assigned from the Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD), and Family Mangaed contracts (PDD) and will meet with the parent(s) to determine which program, i.e. Developmental Aid, Respite, is appropriate for each family. We have in the past, encountered families that have had difficulty with the process, for whatever the reason may be, advocating on behalf of the family, suggestions on their behalf with the representative so that the child and family members are given the much needed support.
